St. John Sporting Dogs is a proud sponsor of the Kern County Wildlife Refuge Blind Project.  Partnering with the Tulare Basin Wildlife  Association and Viscon California we have built two blinds per year and donated them to the KCWR.  The goal of the project is to enhance the experience of hunters at the KCWR.  By re-building a new handicap blind (HC-2) it allows more people the ability to use our public lands.  We hope that these blinds also make it easier to host youth hunters and continue our traditions.  We have a work day once a year where we place the new blinds and clean up the older ones.  Please fee l free to reach out if you would like to be a part of the work day at KCWR, usually beginning if August.
